Hi! Thanks for visiting my website. I am a San Francisco-based freelance journalist and writer specializing in health, fitness, nutrition, pop culture, sports, and humorous essays. I’ve had a passion for writing all of my life and I’ve been writing professionally since 2002. With the exception of the personal essays, all of the work presented here has been published between then and now on Gay.com, PopMatters.com, Astrology.com,and other regional publications.

Whereas I enjoy the carefree life of a freelancer, it is my goal to become a member of an in-house team as an editor or staff writer, and my resume can be found here as well. I have degrees in journalism and graphic design, and I have experience as both an editor and copywriter. I am also adept at fact checking and proofreading.
